The Happiest Little Thoughts (Day 7)
Just Stop! Right Now!
Don't do anything.
Don't think anything.
Just BE!
WOW! Isn't life FANTASTIC!
~ Stuart & Linda Macfarlane
We are all very complicated beings.
Sometimes, when we can just stop thinking so much, caring about so much, life will be so much simpler and brighter.
Just keep in mind that happiness is a state of mind.

The Happiest Little Thoughts (Day 6)
The best things are nearest;
breath in your nostrils,
light in your eyes,
flowers at your feet.
duties at your hand.
~ Robert Louis Stevenson (1850 - 1894)
Appreciate the things around you, give thanks to the people around you.
The people who stays around you are the one who have you in their hearts.
All the things you have are the things which are of importance to you.
Do not focus on the things which you do not have yet and forget to appreciate the things and the people whom you have with you.

The Happiest Little Thoughts (Day 5)
Happiness is riding
Happiness is free
Happiness is jumping
So it must be me!
~ Andrew Trowbridge, 7
Happiness is a choice that you make.
A decision that you choose in spite of the situations that is happening around you.
It is never easy to be happy all the time, but we can choose to jump up on our feet again when the going get tough.
Choose the way, make the decision, live your life the way you want it to be.

Catalunya Singapore - Sunday Brunch (21 December 2014)
As a Christmas Celebration, we went for Catalunya's Sunday brunch during his off day on 21 December 2014.
 |
Table Setup |
There is a map included in the brochure indicating what is available on the center table, as well as what are the items we can order on the table side.
 |
Basket of rustic bread offered on the table. |
 |
It seems to be coffee flavored butter to me. |
We started with the bread and butter offered on the table. It seems to be quite a good and satisfying starter to begin with.
 |
Beef on Toast |
 |
Different varieties of ham |
 |
Tomato Bread |
 |
Hummus with vegetable sticks |
 |
Deconstructed Omelette |
 |
Bikini Sandwich |
The above are the food we tried from the tables as well as from orders with servers.
I believe my husband also ordered the mushroom omelette, but that never came.
The bikini sandwich is the most delicious item I have tasted that day. I also quite like the beef which I ate with the toast.
Then around 1.30pm, the servers came out with specialty main dishes for the day.
 |
Salt crusted fish |
 |
Portion of fish served to the table. |
 |
Seafood Paella |
 |
Suckling Pig |
 |
The portion served to the table. |
The taste of the main dishes was not too bad, but their portion isn't very appealing.
The photo is the portion served to the table, for the 2 of us.
The paella which is a noodle dish is nice, but we only were served 2 tiny pieces of squid in the plate.
 |
Desserts - Plate 1 |
 |
Dessert - Plate 2 |
 |
Dessert - Plate 3 |
The desserts looks very exquisite but it was all very heavy and super filling, so we did not manage to finish even half of them.
We paid $98++ per person (inclusive of juices only).
The brunch is from 12.30pm to 4.30pm, but desserts are served around 3.30pm, so we left the place before 4pm after the desserts.
I personally will not go back there again, because it is not some place where I like to go. This place is just not for me.
But if you are someone who are more lively, more loud, I believe you will like it there.
When I made the reservation, I did inform them that we would like to celebrate my birthday there, and they did mention that they will offer a cake, but we also didn't receive anything from them at all.

The Happiest Little Thoughts (Day 4)
Happiness is waking to sunlight shining through the windows,
birdsong, hot showers, fresh bread, work that you long to do.
~ Pam Brown, B (1928)
Do not take anything granted in life, especially those things that will make you happy.
Those things, whether small or big, are nuggets of life that we should hold on to, to always brighten up our day.
Live each day at your brightest.
Work to bring smiles to the faces of the people around you.

The Happiest Little Thoughts (Day 3)
Bright flowers!
Beauty! Joy!
The very best of life!
~ Charlotte Gray
Take time off every day from your busy schedule and appreciate the little beautiful things in your life.
Take time off from your busy schedule, take a deep breathe, smell the beautiful flowers, smell the fresh air, smile more and release the tension you have in your body.
