Knorr Cup Porridge (Yellow)

Hungry for a snack, but do not want to ruin your appetite for meals, you should try the new Knorr Cup Porridge.

I just had the yellow one. And it tastes amazingly nice. You will not think that it is instant porridge, as you have corn bites and pumpkin bites in the porridge, you can even tastes chicken bites in the porridge.

The porridge is very smooth, so smooth that it feels like that there is eggs in the porridge as well.

It is easy to prepare, you just need hot water and 2 minutes, and you will have a nice cup of porridge that tastes nice.

Went back home yesterday and my sister complaint that my blog is so dead! So I think I should at least shout out to her. =)

Wow, do not really think anyone will be reading my blog, so in the first place also not very motivated to update about it ba, but now, I know I have at least one reader that will pop by occasionally.

Married for 6 and a half months, I really think things have been moving along quite fast. Just 1 month ago, I have just graduated frm SOT. That 5 and a half month was a journey on its own.

On the first day of school, thought that I won't know anyone in class, and I was serving somemore, but frm the orientation pack, found some very familiar names in my team, people that I know, JH & Vincent. Throughout the 5.5 months, the 2 of them have been a great support, especially JH. Still remember for the first few weeks, people tot we have something for each other till they know that I am married and that we have known each other for like 9 years. Not a very hyper person to be with, JH & Vincent have helped me to oriented myself into the team. They have been such a blessings.

Then financially, some have indeed helped me greatly, like my husband, for sure, and church for the sponsorship and yuling.
When I first got in, wasn't very sure whether I was able to handle, especially mock cg and preaching test, but in the end, all have been completed, looking back, it was fun and exciting to do all those as a team. We really see the good and the bad, the weaknesses and strength of each other and we really learn about the character of each other as we see each other almost daily.

It have really been a journey that is not regretted. =)

Then, now I am in my new job, and it felt so much like a blessing. =)
It took me quite some time to find one, but when I found this one, it is amazing. Some have said previously, that I am gifted in administration, so this time round, it is still administrative in nature, but it is more of a supportive role, like a PA or a secretary, so it is different from all the things I used to do previously. The pay and benefits frm this place is also very good. Hahaha. Maybe it is really time for me to settle down at a place and industry le ba.

One very important thing that SOT have helped me is in make up. As we were all required to put on make up for school and for all services / conferences, it helped to inculcate the habit of making up which makes it easier for me to make up and look my best for work. =)

Truly, SOT is not just for head knowledge, which ultimately, you may forget through the process of time, but it also gives you experiential knowledge that helps you in your daily lives. SOT is for everyone who wants to be equipped.

New Journey

Today is the start of the journey of my new workplace, and I believe, this will be a good journey.

Come to think about it, this year have indeed been full of ups and downs. In my career, in my studies and in my personal life.

I began this year concerned about how my wedding will go, and whether I will be able to get into SOT successfully. Then by the year's first quarter mark have passed, I am married & studying in SOT. Then by the second quarter's mark, I had to be concerned about the finances & about school work at the same time. And now, at the third quarter of the year, I hav completed SOT, with pretty good results, and I have found an attractive job with substantial pay with good benefits.
I am looking forward to the final quarter of the year, I believe, it will be a good one. It will also mark a new start of my journey with Him and being in His way.

Thank God for all He have arranged for me, of all the plans He have prepared for me. Let me be more sensitive in His guidance, He will lead me to my destiny. =)

Sweetest Moon in Bali

Hee. I have got the photos for my trip already. Hee. Actually got them quite long ago, but only now then got the time to sit down and type this out. =)

I was away for my honeymoon from 21st till 24th April to Bali. I have applied leave to go there. And as Winston's place was very warm & humid, we ended up at airport by 21st early morning like around 1am. [If by now you still do not know, Ryan went together with us also.] So when we reach, Ryan had a little supper of Tang Hoon Soup, then after that, we went to slack at coffee bean at t3, and we also ordered 2 breakfast set before 5am as it is going for buy-1-get-1 promotion. =)

Then when the time is closer, we went over to terminal 1 for our flight. Once we got in, we also went to play some games at T2 before we went into the plane. Then off we go into the sky.

Around two and a half hours later, we have arrived at Bali, we got into a cab (*expensive lesson), then we went to check into our rooms. Then we went to get our welcome drinks at the restaurant. Then we went out for our lunch, we went to Discovery Shopping Center for A&W. =)

We also went window shopping, keeping in mind what we want to get. Then after that, we had dinner at MacDonalds, then we are back to the hotel to rest before the photo shoot the next day. Of course, have to keep in mind that it was raining that day too. Ryan also went to talk to the Hotel and managed to get a car and a driver for our photo shoot the next day.

The next day, we have to wake up at around 630, wash up, take breakfast and leave the hotel by 830. Then, once I am in the car, I went into a sleeping mode and I slept till I reach the first location. We went to rice field. And we started our shoot. As we need to get into the field, Ryan was the one who went to find pathways that I can walk on. And most of the places he found was quite firm, I only have one slip, and he was there in front of me to stop me from falling down. =P

Then after all those pictures there, we proceeded to the next location, and as usual, I was sleeping throughout the whole journey. We had lunch before we reach the 2nd location. We had suckling pig rice for lunch. Woo Hoo. That is like a delicacy there. Then we reach the 2nd location. It is a temple near the sea side. So we took some pictures with waves but I was too tired to continue much at the 2nd location. By that time, it was around 2 plus in the afternoon and the sun was shining brightly over us. The 2 guys literally have to find shade for me to rest when we moving around the place. And I was very tired to continue liaox. By 3pm, we are off to the next location.

The next location is a place with monkeys, so there are some shots of monkeys, but by the time I get there, I am so dead that I already cannot continue. So also unable to do a lot of shots at the place. Oops. Then off we go for dinner.

We went to a seaside restaurant. So we were enjoying a seafood feast with the sound of waves in the background and of course seeing the sun setting in front us. It was a nice view. Hee. After food, it is time for us to go back to the hotel already. =)
I was wanting to sleep so much. Hee. That was the day where there wasn't even a drop of rain at all. The sky is just a huge clear blue canvas.

The next morning, we had breakfast, then we went to shop for gifts to bring back. We had lunch at a food court, then we also went for ice cream waffles at A&W, then we went to another A&W cos we cannot get back to the hotel due to a heavy rain. It was literally raining cats and dogs that we are unable to even venture out of the covered shopping center. After the rain stops, we went to put our things back in the hotel, then we went out for dinner as a restaurant that was recommended by tourists, the food was not bad. But their dinner was cut short cause I became to feel unwell. *Sob*. So we need to go back to the hotel. Then I fell asleep.

The final day, we went to have breakfast too, then some packing and off we go to the airport, via the hotel's airport transfer which cost half the price we paid when we came to the hotel. At the airport, we were caught in a human jam because there was a tour group that caused a lot of delays with the other passengers, and their immigration was also taking around 1.5 hours to just do clearance. We had to rush into the gate to be able to get in on time. No fun at the airport. Then we are flying back. Woo Hoo.
Winston's parents came to pick us, so we went home while Ryan have to rushed to Expo to return his lens, then he came over to our place so that we all went for dinner. =)
And that ends my trip (my sweet sweet moon at Bali). Hee.

#4 - Post Bali Honeymoon

It is past midnight already.

I have just came back from my honeymoon in Bali.

Feel like blogging about the trip, but, I do not have the pictures with me yet. haha. So if I blog, it will be full blog of words, which isn't very entertaining. hee.
This trip was not a bad one, it was rather good.

The overview for this trip is that on the first day we arrive, we will go walk around the area and shop, then rest. 2nd day is for a photoshoot. 3rd day is the final day of shopping. 4th day, we come back to Singapore.

That is the whole idea of this trip.

More than one month after the wedding, one of the thing that have happened during the period of preparing for the wedding, is that I felt that God have restored one of my relationship with someone whom I have got to know the same time as I know my hubby.
He is no other than Ryan, who is my best man, my hubby's buddy who also turned out to be the photographer for my photoshoot in Bali.
Just like after the wedding, we just sort of became closer. It became like we are close friends again without the time of lapse which we have no contact with each other during the years we were in different zones and have no contact with each other.
During this time, I have really got to know him better as a friend, as a brother, as a listening ear, as a guy, as a close friend.
To me, this restoration of friendship is very special and very meaningful.

I am someone who treasures friendship, but I am also someone who is afraid to get hurt, so I will not open up to others easily, when I get to know them, that was the time I was most open to people. But within a span of just more than a year, I was hurt again. And that ended up with me closing myself up from people. These few months, under a new leadership and a new leader, I have tried opening myself up again. And with the restoration of friendship between me and him, and there are stronger friendship between me and other people, I really feel that I am able to open up more and build more friendship.

Of course he is not the only one that I have felt that my relationship have improved with, there are some others whose friendship have just been rekindled in my life. And I thank God for each and every relationship He have placed in my life. Humans are all not perfect, but with each imperfect being, there can be a perfection in them.

Happy Birthday To Daddy!!

Today is my dad's birthday, and he will be bringing the whole family for dinner later at Allson Hotel. Hee. [I know that the hotel's name have been changed already.]

And yesterday, I have also go a new phone.

I just have the urge to start writing again.

Over these few years, I have been using a lot of pages to blog. I still remember my very first blog was using diary-x, but it is no longer available anymore, and I have lost all my memories there.

Then there was a time I was using diaryland, but I also didn't really last very long. I have a few other flings along the way, but I still think blogger is the most stable platform around available already.

I feel that now is the time for me to start writing about my ideas again.

And since I am going toward my new life, it is really a new starting point for me. =)

My wedding is in around 2 months time, then I will be moving into my hubby's place.
His parents are super nice people. They have spent around a month in the packing and repainting of the house so that I will have a comfortable place to stay when I move over. And they have even given me their rooms to use while I am staying there, till our own flat is ready. Which I believe will only be ready almost end of 2011 or early 2012.

But as we are preparing for the wedding, things aint really that smooth going.
Things happened to our grandparents, and the most interesting thing to me is the fact that all the things happening to them are related to their legs. Of course it is not something good.

But that aside, the wedding preparation are almost completed, in my views. Hee hee.
My guo da li is this coming sunday, 17 Jan, it feels very fast. Time seems to be moving at the twinkling of the eye. After the event, there is nothing more till the actual wedding day. We have sort of selected all the photos that we want for the album, we just need to wait for their artwork, and the final testing of the gowns, then we are done.

As the time of the wedding gets nearer and nearer, it seems pretty fast that it is happening. It can be kinda scary as I am going to take on another role and position already. And the fact that I am moving into their family, it is the linking of two different lifestyles together. Two super duper lifestyles together. I will have to be more accomodating to my parents in law and his siblings and grandfather. I have to learn to get molded into his family. I have a lot to learn.

Even when it is scary, I believe something good will turn up after all these ordeals. We are not perfect, but we are made perfect with His sacrifice.

Looking forward to Sunday, the details have yet to be confirmed between the families yet. :)
